Abstract submission and registration for the 40th Congress of the International Union of Physiological Sciences, IUPS 2025 is ongoing.
The scientific programme follows the success story of previous meetings, including 2 Nobel laureate lectures, 8 special lectures, 24 keynote lectures and 24 symposia. In addition, there will be meetings of the “Special Interest Groups” and the National Societies, social and networking events, poster and oral abstract presentations. The latter sessions will be filled once the abstract submission has closed. We are most excited about this four-day programme that covers the most recent aspects of physiology from individual molecules to integrative human physiology. Biennial Meeting of the European Society for Microcirculation (ESM 2025)

Europsko društvo za mikrocirkulaciju (ESM) ove godine organizira Biennial Meeting of the European Society for Microcirculation (ESM 2025), koji će se održati u Szegedu (Mađarska), 19. - 22. svibnja, 2025. Mjesto održavanja kongresa bit će József Attila Study and Information Centre, Sveučilišta u Szegedu. Konferencija je redoviti međunarodni skup znanstvenog društva ESM koji je od 1959. godine održan više od 30 puta u raznim europskim gradovima. Ove godine domaćin ESM 2025 je Mađarsko društvo za mikrocirkulaciju i vaskularnu biologiju, a suorganizatori su Hrvatsko društvo fiziologa te Slovensko fiziološko društvo kako bi se prikazala istraživanja mikrovaskularne fiziologije u regiji. ESM ima za cilj stvoriti zajedničku platformu za klinička i temeljna istraživanja usmjerena na mikrocirkulaciju organa i tkiva. Iz medicinske perspektive, tema konferencije je od središnje važnosti, jer mikrovaskularne patologije značajno doprinose mnogim kroničnim bolestima kao što su kardiovaskularni i poremećaji središnjeg živčanog sustava. Konferencija ESM 2025 pruža izvrsnu priliku za nove međunarodne suradnje i aktivnu integraciju u međunarodnu vaskularnu istraživačku zajednicu. ESM 2025 je događaj koji pruža platformu za inovacije u međunarodnom partnerstvu, posebice za razvoj terapijskih postupaka i tehnologija koje se mogu koristiti u medicini.
